Description:

Balloon Bound is a 2D endless runner game that puts your flying skills to the test! Navigate through the skies, avoiding your fellow hot air balloons, birds, and the ground, as you strive to stay afloat for as long as possible. The challenge intensifies as your mileage (score) increases, with faster spawn intervals and simultaneous balloon obstacles. Can you reach the top of the leaderboards and secure your place among the best balloon pilots?

Cool game. I like the sprites & music. I think the difficulty should ramp up a bit quicker though. Also when I opened the page I got this error (shown in the attached).


I don't think the attachment is showing. The error reads "TypeError: Cannot set properties of null (setting 'onclick')".

This one is a cool little pick up and play!

It's like flappy bird but with a balloon-themed spin on it. I would say that most of the beginning part is bland, and only gets really interesting when things get harder, and even then it's just advanced obstacles. 

To spice things up, I would recommend possibly adding buffs/nerfs to the balloon and the obstacles; Maybe a high-lift buff, gusts of wind to avoid, or a leveling system to present progression (unless that defeats the purpose of an endless runner). 

My favorite part is the BANGER music... Why does it go so hard for a game about balloons??? Also the art is really cool!

Unfortunately I have no idea how to solve the fullscreen problem, maybe other users can help with that.

I planned to make a power-up system on this but during the time of development, I couldn't think of anything good that will go here. Now that you've said it, it made me think again, and with the idea of a gust of wind as an obstacle, I had an idea for a power-up as well. Thanks for playing friend! :)

P.S. When I was looking for CC0 music, the first time I heard this music, I knew this was the one haha!
